Long Ye, a member of the Communist Party of China, currently serves as the chief engineer of NHI and the deputy director of the National Key Laboratory of Intelligent Mining and Equipment for Deep Metal Mines. He was awarded the May Day Labor Medal of Liaoning Province in 2025 and the May Day Labor Medal of Shenyang City in 2016.

Long Ye has successively presided over and participated in 13 scientific research projects at the national, provincial and municipal levels of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and has been granted 8 invention patents, 12 utility model patents and 1 design patent. He has always adhered to the concept of innovation-driven development. With the courage to be pioneer and the perseverance to never give up, he has led his team to solve technical problems in one major project after another, filling the gaps both at home and abroad. In terms of deepening the cooperation among industry, academia and research, we joined hands with the teams of academicians to tackle key problems, bravely explored the cutting-edge of science and technology, and empowered the development of deep resources and the innovation of mining equipment.
