The first chief designer of former Shenyang Heavy Machinery Factory was a pioneer in the field of heavy machinery research and development in China.

Hongji Yang (1921–1996)

National Advanced Producer

A member of the Communist Party of China, former deputy director of Shenyang Heavy Machinery Factory, pioneered to use open-hearth furnaces for alloy steel smelting.

A member of the Communist Party of China. He was the deputy general manager of former Mining and Metallurgical Equipment Branch of Northern Heavy Industries Group and he is a well-known expert in the field of coal mill manufacturing in the thermal power industry.

He is a member of the Communist Party of China. He was formerly the team leader of the Assembly team in the First Structural Workshop of the Equipment Manufacturing Company of Shenyang Mining Machinery Group.

He is a member of the Communist Party of China. He was formerly the director of the First Assembly Workshop of the Tunnel Boring Machine company of Northern Heavy Industries Group Co., Ltd. and a master of TBM assembly.

He is a member of the Communist Party of China. Currently, he serves as the deputy director of the National Key Laboratory of Intelligent Mining and Equipment for Deep Metal Mines (NHI).

He is a member of the Communist Party of China. Currently, he serves as the director of the Design and Research Institute of North Heavy Industries Group Co., Ltd.

Jun Wang (born in 1970)

Awarded the May Day Labor Medal of Liaoning Province

He is a member of the Communist Party of China. Currently, he serves as a material worker in the material preparation workshop of the structural Components Factory of NHI.

Lin Li (born in 1964)

Model Worker of Liaoning Province

He is a member of the Communist Party of China. He was formerly an assembly fitter at the Tunnel Boring Machine Factory of North Heavy Industries Group Co., Ltd.

Bing Zhang (born in 1983)

Awarded the May Day Labor Medal of Liaoning Province

He is a member of the Communist Party of China. Currently, he works as a lathe operator at the Machinery Processing Factory of NHI.

Junjie Cai (born in 1980)

He is a member of the Communist Party of China. Currently, he serves as an assembly fitter in the third assembly workshop of the General Assembly Factory of NHI.

Hualong Li (born in 1986)

Model Worker of Liaoning Province

Hualong Li, a member of the Communist Party of China. Currently, he serves as the main operator and team leader of the 200 boring machine at the Machinery Processing Factory of NHI. He was awarded the title of Model Worker of Liaoning Province in 2022.

Hailong Tong (born in 1983)

Awarded the May Day Labor Medal of Liaoning Province

Hailong Tong, a member of the Communist Party of China. Currently, he serves as a milling machine operator and team leader in the first mechanical processing workshop of Machinery Processing Factory NHI. He was awarded the Liaoning May Day Labor Medal in 2024, Shenyang May Day Labor Medal in 2022, and Shenyang Industrial Craftsman in 2025.

Long Ye(born in 1983)

Awarded the May Day Labor Medal of Liaoning Province

Long Ye, a member of the Communist Party of China, currently serves as the chief engineer of NHI and the deputy director of the National Key Laboratory of Intelligent Mining and Equipment for Deep Metal Mines. He was awarded the May Day Labor Medal of Liaoning Province in 2025 and the May Day Labor Medal of Shenyang City in 2016.
